Because of the changes to the law surrounding open homes during Covid19, it was imperative that our office find a way for us to move forward with showing homes, whilst also meeting the new social distancing. Sounds like a huge ask to be honest!
We have found our solution by using virtual tours. The tours are taken using a 360 degree camera and uploading to our website. This then allows tenants to walk through the property front to back in a virtual space, from the comfort of their own home.
We are then requesting that people make their application for the property online, using our website, so that we can assess this prior to taking anyone physically to the property. We are only taking one person at a time to the premises, and ensuring that we are keeping to all social distancing regulations.
